As our Investment Specialist and Director of Advanced Markets, Jason Heller plays a critical role at MassMutual South Florida. Jason’s expertise includes the development and implementation of strategies to help clients achieve their goals of growing, preserving, and transferring their wealth. Since 2010, Jason also works with over 160 registered representatives as the Investment Specialist for MassMutual and made Management Council in 2016.
Prior to joining our firm Jason Heller had worked as an Investment Specialist at Guardian Life Insurance and managed his own private practice for several years. In 2007, Guardian named Jason National Investment Specialist of the year. He is also a lifetime qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and 6 year qualifying member of the Court of the Table.
Jason is not only a Certified Financial Planner Professional®, he has earned over a dozen industry designations, including the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA® a designation given jointly by the Wharton School of Business and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) along with the Retirement Income Certified Planner (RICP).® Jason also has two Masters degrees in Financial Services from the Institute of Business & Finance and the American College. He is also currently a PhD candidate at the American College for financial and retirement planning.
Jason graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also played college basketball. He is an avid University of Miami athletics fan. A conservative asset manager by training, Jason’s motto with clients is “I would rather lose a little opportunity than lose actual dollars.”
Jason Heller is a lifetime qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and will be hosting information sessions for MDRT qualifiers and aspirants in 2017 to provide important messages out to the South Florida financial community.
